Just because one fought and battled with pokemon, didn't mean that the creatures didn't deserve to be treated with respect, even when they weren't your own...

Airi knew this in her own way. She never threw her pokeballs. She always just knelt down and placed them upon the ground, pushing the little button on the center. It was strange to some, but she'd rather release her pokemon gently, rather than throwing them- they meant that much to her. Ghosts were restless spirits. To be calm and kind towards them gained their friendship, and soothed them.

Upon defeating an opponent, she would always give them at least a small potion, to tide them over to the nearest pokemon center. "Nobody deserves to watch their dearest companions hurt," she would say. Upon her own defeats, she would clutch her main three pokeballs to her chest, croon softly to them about how well they did, and run, or fly, depending on if her Drifblim was hurt too badly, to the nearest center.

Each day in itself was a different battle for Airi and her six ghosts. But so long as they were together, and she was the same respectful girl, things would turn out fine.

I have to retake sanitation, because I missed my final due to ride problems, but oh well. just another semester of playing pokemon and whizzing through tests.

my favorite newlyweds are most likely coming to visit me this spring by using their tax return. or so says the hubby, as a birthday surprise for his chewbecca. <3

I made a gingerbread house that was amazing and fucking huge and all halloween and cute and just zomg. and it was left unattended at the mall, and now its ruined. fuck.

I met the girlfriend of the boy I like, and I realized that I really never stood a chance. they were too cute together. he's still a very good friend, but it sucks.

school and work is done. fuck that, too. I have a month and a half off, and it blows. I don't go back until february, and finals aren't until memorial day. so its lame. taking catering, customs and cultures of food, cake decorating, and sanitation.

should update bry's pies soon. or I hope. with delishus foods and such. maybe even a soup recipe.

I've been seriously debating things lately. I really need to get my ass in shape, and work harder in school. Hancock doesn't offer an associates in my major yet, but with how slow I'm taking things now... it might not matter. But I might need to switch schools, if I want to get the degree that I want not what they just slap me with. The closest school with my major- and the one that I'd feel comfortable going to- is the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

But on the other hand......

The salon needs more help. The current massage therapist is having health problems. My mom has suggested many a time that I go to school for that. And other family members have made cracks about me cooking.

So when I post, asking for advice on facebook, my oldest sister replies, "You wouldn't be the first to let the family down"

SO if I go to college- I'd be letting them down with the salon. If I go to massage school, I'd be yet another Lopez that wouldn't finish school, letting my grandpa and the rest of the family down.

Omg Furuba. Rewatching the anime again (finished LOVELESS and Chrono Crusade) and I forgot how much I loved episode eight- Don't Cry- For the Snow Will Surely Melt. I've watched it twice right now- once in English, and once in Japanese. Furuba has a wonderful cast in either language, albeit some episodes are meant to be watched in one language over the other- episode ten, the first appearance of Hatsuharu is better in English, imho. But thats just because I'm a Justin Cook fan, and he's hilarious.

On happier notes, I FUCKIN GOT MY JOB BACK. WITH PAY AND EVERYTHING. I STARTED CRYING WHEN I FOUND OUT. OMFG. WIN. NOW I CAN HAS AN EXTRA 200 A MONTH. I CAN HAS MONEY FOR A WINTER COAT NAO. <333333333333333

Its an amazing thing, how pets resemble their owners. There's pieces of me in all three of the family dogs. Gracie has my anxieties- my need for reassurance, a safe spot to be. But like me, those are fading. Eady has my need to protect what, or rather, who is mine. At the same time, she has that same devotion where she struggles through her problems for other people. Charlie is my light side, happy to see people, and just be where I am.

And right now, all three of them share my love of sleep.

I've got a mix that I'm willing to share with those who want it- I call it my mininight set, as its my favorite songs from my nighttime playlist on my iPod. These are the songs that relax me, and are best for listening to in the dark of a car. Or while doing schoolwork, or anything.
